Service Day

Our Lady of Perpetual Help believes in helping others in the community, and come out once a year to volunteer in the Aurora community and neighboring towns to help others with yard work, home repairs, homebound and nursing home visitations, and much more! Through hard work, helpful hands, and the joy of taking care of others, we come together to recognize the Works of Mercy!
We need help!
Service Day is looking a bit different this year, but we still need your help! Please check out the two projects below and if you're able to help, reach out to the coordinators. Many hands make light work, and loving hearts spread the Gospel through their actions!

Saturday, May 23rd
9:00 am to 3:00 pm
A service project is being planned to assist Shepherd's House, the homeless shelter in Ravenna. The project will consist of simple tasks that do not require any special skills or excessive strength.
If you would like to volunteer or help in this effort, please contact Martha Phillips at slpmap2000@yahoo.com

Saturday, June 6th

We are looking for people to join us at Aurora area nursing home facilities to hold an Ice Cream Social and play Bingo with the residents.
If you would like to participate, contact Jan Zimmerman at (216) 409-0830 or call the parish office. Thank you!
