The guideline of the Youngstown Diocese is that:
 all children have two years of catechesis for preparation for Eucharist

(grade 1 and 2)
and two years of preparation for Confirmation (grades 7 and 8)

                February 17, 2008- Candidate/Parent/Sponsor Session @ 7:00 pm
Reconciliation (Confession or Penance) is also experienced in grade two. 

                Reconciliation Retreat- Parent & Child   January 14th @ 6:30 pm

                Sacrament of Reconciliation- January 20th @ 7:00 pm

If your child attends a Catholic School, your child must still receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist and Confirmation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (their home parish) and must register for those classes through our Religious Education Department.  Any questions should be directed to Margaret Ann (Mac) Clapp, DRE at x233.
